Instructions
Ministry Resource Provider Rules & Regulations GCSSA reserves the right to deny space to any individual, group, or company not in harmony with the mission, vision, and values of GCSSA and the Midwest Teaching & Discipleship Convention Assignment of Display Space Space will be assigned by GCSSA, in accord with ministry resource provider request, as space is available. The Sponsoring Organizations will have first choice on exhibit space. After that, assignments will be made on a first-come, first-filled basis. GCSSA has sole right and responsibility in assigning space. Subletting of booth space in part or in whole is prohibited. Price and Payment of Display Space A minimum of 50% of the total cost of the space requested must accompany the resource provider contract. All spaces must be paid for in full by February 27, 2009. Space not paid for by this date will be subject to cancellation and resale by GCSSA. Space reserved after February 27, 2009 must be paid in full at the time of application. Each resource provider will be given three complimentary badges and lunch tickets. Single not-for-profit non-premium exhibit spaces are available at the $400 discounted price prior to December 31st, 2008. Cancellation of Display Space A full refund will be made for cancellations received by February 1, 2009. Cancellations received by March 1, 2009 will be refunded one half of the total cost. NO REFUNDS will be made for cancellations received after March 1, 2009. General Conditions Exhibits must be installed so they do not extend beyond the booth area or project above the 8' backdrop. Care should be taken not to obstruct the view of adjoining exhibit spaces. All display tables will be draped. Resource providers using sound equipment must keep the volume at a minimum. Distribution of printed materials must be confined to the individual exhibit area. Distribution of materials by non-resource providers is prohibited. Sale of Materials Books and other materials may now be sold at ALL booths provided they are in harmony with the mission, vision, and values of GCSSA and the Midwest Teaching & Discipleship Convention. Installation and Removal of Displays Set up hours are Thursday, March 26th between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm (evening set up hours available upon request). A complimentary box lunch will be provided on set-up day on Thursday, March 26th. This must be requested in advance. Since this is a non-union facility, you are free to carry in and set up your own display. Final close of exhibits will be Saturday, March 28th at 4:00 pm. Resource providers are asked not to dismantle before that time. Advance Shipments Information Nothing should be shipped in advance to Forest View Educational Center. The exhibit decorator, Crown Exposition, will receive your advance shipments of exhibit materials at their warehouse after March 1, 2009, store them for up to thirty (30) days, deliver them to your exhibit space(s) at Forest View Educational Center, handle your empties, and reload to your outbound carrier at the close of the convention. Information will be provided in Exhibit Packets sent in January. Exhibit Hours
Liability Although the resource center will be secure
overnight, resource providers with very valuable display materials are
